Nerve Pain (Neuralgia, Neuropathy, Neuritis), is a type of pain which originates from the peripheral and/or central nervous system. The source of the pain is commonly due to the nerve being trapped, damaged, compressed, or pinched, and less commonly due to some other disease process affecting the nerve.

Screening Tests
The following screening tests can give an indication of whether your pain has a neuropathic component or not. You can also use these scales to assess your response to pain management treatment as time goes by. They are not meant to replace medical consultations or tests.
